hii
i've been out most of the day because it was my sister's birthday today, so there was extra gift shopping to be done
i don't have a ton of money, so i couldn't get anything big but i hope she'll still treasure it
anyway, last night, i had this idea that i could make a children's book for my niece and nephew for next year and the more i thought about it, the more the story bloomed and now it's less of a one-off handmade gift and something i actually want to write, just to share
i was too busy today, but i'm going to see if i can type something out tomorrow and also do the research so the parts of that i have no experience with (like, denmark and paris and being from and visiting those places) are still well written and not inaccurate! i'm more excited than i've been all break, i think
i'm still at the party right now, so i'm ending this here but this feels like the sort of thing i've been wanting to have? as in, something that's entirely mine and also productive and meaningful and could be good for myself and others! i'm not really sure how to phrase that part
