i've been thinking about this murder in my city that occurred a few days ago
i don't want to give a lot of detail, but there was a young girl (think she had to have been 19 or 20) who was thought to have committed suicide because they found a note typed out on her phone next to where she died? and the media and the police gave a conference where they attacked her mom, who had objected to that idea, and said there was no way she would've known what her daughter was dealing with because she was away for college
well there was missing footage from the cameras (thought to have been deleted by someone) and data collected from her phone and the disappearance of someone involved and now they're reconsidering
it's a little weird to see this play out in real time and i just hope that the attention it draws from true crime fans isn't negative
i hope the girl's family is doing alright, if that's even possible during this time
