happy easter, all! 🐻
i hope everyone had a nice day and got to spend it with family, if they wanted to do so. i had planned to, but there was a small snafu yesterday.
my brother invited himself to the plans that my parents made, for whatever reason, so we stayed slightly out of town and away from home yesterday. the goal was to relax and prepare for easter, but it was a little difficult because his children are so active! i absolutely love them, but like -- 6 people and 2 toddlers (who don't like the unfamiliar) in close, sort of uncomfortable quarters is the perfect recipe for disaster. i woke up a few times during the night because i'd hear them crying.
so, when i woke up this morning, i was exhausted and the idea of staying around family for 8 hours was too much. instead, i spent a very calm day at home alone! i took a 2 hour nap to pay back the sleep debt and woke up and did some school work.
now i'm going to get some more sleep and try to mentally prepare for the week. see you!
