cw for suicide mention ‼️
sorry for the vague entry yesterday, but i was trying to wrap my head around everything!
so, my sister in law's brother tried to kill himself (he's alright, thankfully) and it was unexpected for sure, like getting news like that tends to be. but i was thinking that he's very clearly not well and instead of framing it with sympathy, my parents are criticizing him. for more detail, his mom is dealing with an illness right now and he called her and told her how he felt and what he was going to do, and obviously she didn't need that extra weight, but i'm conflicted. they're angry (justifiably) but i can't bring myself to feel the same way
i'm not close to him at all, but it's terrible news to get, regardless. he's still family, so i hope he can get help
