i dunno if this is an odd thing to confession, but whenever i get sad, i think of stanley uris from It (2017)
it's such a constant that i think in some dark way, he's my comfort character in all media
the idea of being so controlled by your fear over something that you just can't imagine continuing to exist under those circumstances is something that really resonates with me and i think will continue to and it's impossible of me to think about him without beginning to cry (note to wyatt oleff and andy bean that they will certainly never see, thank you for your portrayal of this character that has stuck with me for years)
to a lesser degree, lynn denlon is also important to me, and she certainly deserved better
i've had a rough week so i've been rewatching these two films
