today's been chaotic
i can't recall if i've mentioned this in the 9 months i've been writing (somehow) but i don't know how to drive, mostly because when i was trying to learn about 10 years ago, my dad was teaching me and he kept yelling at me so i gave up immediately and never tried again
so whenever i need to go anywhere, i usually walk or have to find a ride with a family member or, if i'm really desperate, get an uber. well, my sister was scheduled for a morning shift (she usually works from 3pm-12am, so she can give me a ride and pick me up) which left me struggling to find someone. i did get an uber there in the morning so that was fine. the trouble really started in the afternoon!
my mom didn't want to loan me more than $15 and she's sort of in charge of my finances (not in that controlling way, i can't explain well) so she asked if i could wait for peak hour to pass so i waited about 40 minutes and prices only got more expensive. so i was texting her and she got too busy to reply so i had to spend about 2 hours past the time of when my class ended stranded on campus (on the plus side, i spent some time in the library and checked out the maltese falcon! i'll post a review later, maybe). and when i could finally get a reply, she said she'd send the money so she tried and then ghosted for another 20 minutes. well, it didn't exactly go through so it's 2:55 at this point and i'm sick and tired of waiting and absolutely frustrated when she finally sends it
well i decided to wait at a wendy's instead because i'm hungry so i took the uber there instead and got myself something to eat and spent maybe 2 hours waiting for her to pick me up? i just got home about 30 minutes ago when my class ended at 12:50 and i am soooooo tired
that's how my day went & now i'm going to go pass out
